| The Meals on Wheels service provides a daily nutritious meal to those unable to prepare their own meals due to failing health, temporary illness or permanent disabilities. Volunteers work in pairs and are required to act either as a driver for taking the meals to the clients, or as an assistant who delivers the meals to the client’s door. Volunteers gather at the City of Bayswater Hostel about 10am each day, then leave to deliver meals on a pre-arranged route and return to the hostel by about 12.30pm. |

Meals on Wheels Support Volunteers are also required. These volunteers assist the volunteer coordinator by organising, arranging and packing eskies with prepared meals.
