PAWS - Pets and Wellbeing

The PAWS program provides support to Home and Community Care Clients (HACC) to care for a pet. The HACC program provides services to those who live at home but whose independent living is at risk of premature or inappropriate admission to long term residential care.

Volunteers assist by providing companionship and animal support to clients, including assisting the to client care for their pet, (including transporting pet to vet, grooming and walking a dog) and foster care of a pet when a client is away from their home (optional).
