At the City of Bayswater we provide a "Meals on Wheels" food service to eligible Home and Community Care Clients, elderly residents and people with a disability. Good nutrition assists wound healing, recovery after hospitalisation and general wellbeing.
The nutritious two course meals are prepared fresh each day in our purpose-built kitchen and delivered to you by a volunteer 5 days per week Monday to Friday, with weekend meals delivered frozen on the Friday.
The daily meal comprises of a hot meal (choice of two) and a healthy dessert, a bottle of orange juice is also supplied once per week . Salads are also available in the summer months
The menu is updated on a regular basis and specific diet-related meals such as vegetarian and diabetic friendly meals are also available
The City of Bayswater food services is proud to have achieved and maintained a recognised food safety program and was awarded the Winner of the Western Australian Restaurant and Catering Function Award in 2011.
The cost of the two course meal delivered is kept to a minimum. For further information please contact the Coordinator Sue Thomas 9272 7429
