Bayswater Leisure and Information Service for Younger People with Disability (BLIS)

Bayswater Leisure and Information Service for Younger People with Disability (BLIS) is part of the City of Bayswater's Home and Community Care Program (HACC).

BLIS provides people with a disability an opportunity to participate in a range of activities in a supported, social setting.

Blis Group

 A monthly program of leisure activities are offered for participants of the program, including excursions to interesting venues and locations in the local and wider community, guest speakers, music and entertainment, lunches, arts and crafts and sport & recreational opportunities.

Funky Fridays - Regular social events are held on Friday evenings which combine dinner, dance, music & games, with a focus on socialisation and fun.

Saturday Drop in Centre, offers flexible and accessible activities, with a strong emphasis on the local community between 10am-5pm.

The BLIS program is based at the RISE, Maylands Multipurpose Centre, 28 Eighth Avenue, Maylands.
