The City of Bayswater delivers Home and Community Care (HACC) services to eligible older adults in the community, including:
On 17 May 2017, the City of Bayswater Council resolved to exit the HACC program by June 2018. Community Transport, Adult Day Centre and Social Support programs will cease on 30 June 2018. New client referrals have not been accepted since 1 July 2017.
Clients who are currently receiving services will either transition to Umbrella - Multicultural Community Care on 1 July 2018, or another service provider of their choice. The selection of Umbrella was part of a process guided by the Western Australian Department of Health, who provide program funding. http://www.umbrellacommunitycare.com.au/
