Seniors / HACC

The City of Bayswater caters for senior members of the community in a variety of ways including 3 Seniors Centres located in:
  • Morley
  • Bayswater and
  • Maylands

Seniors in the City of Bayswater can also benefit from the Home and Community Care (HACC) Program.

The Home and Community Care (HACC) Program is a cost-shared program between the Commonwealth and State/Territory governments. It provides funding for services that support people who live at home and whose capacity for independent living is at risk of premature or inappropriate admission to long term residential care.

The HACC Program is a key provider of community care services to frail aged people and younger people with disabilities, and their carers.

The City of Bayswater HACC Program provides the following services:

  • Community Transport
  • Domestic Assistance
  • Meal Preparation Service
  • Meals on Wheels
  • Social Support
  • PAWS Pets and Well-being
  • Socialisation Groups
  • Centre Based Day Centre "Olive Tree House" and
  • Bayswater Leisure and Information Service for Younger People with a Disability (BLIS)

Please visit the WA Government’s HACC website for an explanation of what each service entails.
