Social Support / Shopping Assistant

This program provides social support to residents who are frail-aged or have a disability. The service involves the volunteer either:

Visiting the client in their home.
Assisting the client with their shopping.
Bill paying at a shopping centre within the City of Bayswater
Taking the client to appointments.

Volunteers can work for a couple of hours a day, week or fortnight and are assigned to one or two clients. This is a very rewarding program to be involved in. A drivers licence and roadworthy vehicle is required for this position.
