Bayswater Waves is an accredited Watch Around Water facility, meaning that there are guidelines that must be followed whilst visiting:
- CHILDREN UNDER 6 must be constantly supervised and remain within arms reach. If the child is in the water, the parent/guardian must be in the water too.
- CHILDREN UNDER 13 must be actively supervised by a parent/guardian at all times whilst in the centre.
- Unsupervised children (of any age) will be removed from the water if the lifeguard is concerned for their safety.
Bayswater Waves has a huge array of aquatic activities to keep you entertained all day long.
WA’s first wave pool is just one of seven pools at Bayswater Waves. More than 40m long and 25m wide, the indoor wave pool offers five different waves that range in height and power.
(Please note: no boogie boards or surfboards are allowed in the centre). The wave pool also contains a whirlpool and a rowing boat slide for toddlers.

The Centre’s indoor 25m pool is heated to 31.5°C. It is used for swimming lessons, lap swimmers, water walking, rehabilitation and aquarobics.
Patrons should observe the lane signage, ensuring that leisure swimming is not conducted in this area. Availability of lanes is reflected by signs at the end of each lane.
Dive Pool & 50m Pool
The dive and 50m outdoor pools are most popular among lap swimmers and hire groups, given they are heated to competition temperature.
Patrons should observe swimming etiquette: keeping to the left of lanes and swimming down the lane, not across.
Located inside the Centre, the toddlers’ pool is heated to 34°C which makes it ideal for small children. It also features two palm tree water features, as well as a lazy river and slide to provide hours of fun for both children and adults.
Casual general entry does not permit access to the spa/hydro area.
Last admissions for the day are accepted 30 minutes before closing times.
Bayswater Waves is proud to play host to many local and state sporting events, as well as a number of community groups. At times, these bookings may limit public access. Patrons are asked to refer to noticeboards for regular updates.
Please refer to the Accessibility section for further information about the pools.
