Funding applications for major events within the City's town centres
About the program and eligibility
The City provides funding for major events/ festivals within Maylands, Bayswater, Morley and Noranda town centres.
This funding supports major community-led events that bring local community together which creates local identity.
Any incorporated not-for-profit group based within the City is eligible to apply. Up to $40,000 is available in each funding round.
The previous funding round closed in February 2018 with funding allocated to:
- Baysie Rollers - King William St Festival - Stage 1
- Morley Noranda Recreation Club - Open Day
The next round is now open for groups seeking financial and/or in-kind support to deliver major town centre events before 31 June 2019.
A next call for Expressions of Interest will be opened in early 2019 for events taking place in the second half of 2019.
