Aboriginal Advisory Committee
Council at its Special meeting held on 31 October 2017 established the Aboriginal Advisory Committee for the purpose of advising and assisting in the development and implementation of a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) for the City of Bayswater, with the aim to help the workplace to facilitate understanding, promote meaningful engagement, increase equality and develop sustainable employment and business opportunities.
Aged Care Governance Committee
Council at its Special Meeting held on 21 October 2015 established the Aged Care Governance Committee for the purpose of making recommendations directly to Council in accordance with Regulations 16 and 17 of the Local Government (Audit) Regulations 1996.
Audit and Risk Management Committee
Council at its Special Meeting held on 21 October 2015 established the Audit and Risk Management Committee for the purpose of making recommendations directly to Council in accordance with Regulations 16 and 17 of the Local Government (Audit) Regulations 1996.
Community Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee
Council at its Special meeting held on 31 October 2017 established the Community Access and Inclusion Advisory Committee for the purpose of advising and to make recommendations to Council on a range of issues which affect the quality of life for people with a disability who live or work in the City of Bayswater. It would also assist in the implementation and review of the CAIAC. The team also provides advice on how to improve access and inclusion for people with disabilities.
Chief Executive Officer Review Committee
Council at its Special Meeting held on 31 October 2017 established the Chief Executive Officer Review Committee for the purpose of assisting the CEO performance against the agreed key performance indicators with a focus on the following areas:
- Financial Performance of the organisation
- Efficiency Review Program/Service Reviews
- Governance improvements
- Integrated Planning and Reporting
- Stakeholder engagement and management
Heritage Advisory Committee
Council at its Special Meeting held on 21 October 2015 established the Heritage Advisory Committee for the purpose of making recommendations directly to Council on strategic and policy matters as they relate to heritage and built character.
Local Emergency Management Committee
Council at its Special Meeting held on 21 October 2015 established the Local Emergency Management Committee for the purpose of making recommendations directly to Council on strategic and policy matters as they relate to heritage and built character.
The Committee is established under the Emergency Management Act 2005. S.38. The structure, procedures and functions are outlined in the State Emergency Management Committee (SEMC) Policy 2.5 and reports to the Council and District Emergency
Policy Review and Development Committee
Council at its Ordinary meeting held on 12 September 2017 established the Policy Review and Development Committee for the purpose of reviewing all existing City of Bayswater and make recommendations to Council on matters related to policy, policy review and policy development.
