The Bayswater Historical Society has transformed Halliday House into a Heritage Centre and Museum. This 1890s home now contains past photos of the people and places of Bayswater, and memorabilia from the early part of the century.
Halliday House is open to the public on the fourth Sunday of every month between the hours of 1.00pm and 4.00pm. Group bookings are welcome by appointment. For more information, please contact the Bayswater Historical Society on 9271 3741 or view their website.
The Honour Roll of the Bayswater Roads Board, currently located at the Bedford R.S.L Club, lists the names of 249 Bayswater men who served in World War One.
The Bayswater Historical Society has committed to researching and collecting as much information as is possible, using information now available from the National Archive records.
