Handling an emergency

Posted on March 03, 2016

If there was a medical emergency where someone's life was in danger, would you know what to do?

If the answer is no, then you might want to get along to the City's free Better Beginnings for Children program, Family First Aid workshop being held at the Morley Library. It is a decision that potentially could assist you in saving the life of someone you know.

The session is being conducted by former ambulance officer and medical lecturer, Steven Lewsen, from Family First Aid.  He will be presenting a lively and interactive session on first aid for parents of babies and toddlers on Monday, March 14 from 10.30am to 11.30am.

Course participants have the chance to learn how to correctly respond to choking, burns and poisoning and will have the opportunity to ask questions.

For more information please call Marie Edwards on 9272 0980 or email libraryevents@bayswater.wa.gov.au.
