Come on then…Have a Go!

Posted on February 27, 2018

The City of Bayswater is hosting the popular Have a Go Day event for the community from 10am to 1pm on Sunday, 25 March 2018. Just as the name suggests, the day is about everyone coming together to 'have a go' at the wide range of activities offered by local sporting groups, clubs and community organisations.

This is the 8th year this free event has been held in collaboration with Inclusion WA and it will be taking place at The RISE in Maylands on Eighth Avenue. The event promotes inclusiveness and I would like to encourage residents of all abilities to get along.

A large range of stall holders will be there on the day, including the Mad Tatters Morris Dancers, AIM over 50 Archery Group, Swimming WA, Inclusion WA, and the WA Genealogical Society.

Have a Go Day took out the coveted Community Event of the Year Award at the 2016 Department of Sport and Recreation Industry Awards and it really is worthwhile attending.

For more information please visit the City's website www.bayswater.wa.gov.au.
