The City of Bayswater's Youth Advisory Council (YAC) is producing a series of short videos on quirky attractions in the area as part of National Youth Week 2017.
In an innovative move, the City has engaged Vlogger Samuel England to produce content on what's cool in 'Baysie'.
Samuel, who is well known in the Perth fashion industry and currently studying Broadcasting at Edith Cowan University (ECU) said he's excited to show young people what #MyBaysie has to offer.
"There's literally so much to do in the City of Bayswater," Samuel said.
"We're spoilt for choice with cool ways to spend your day. I'm really excited to show young people in the area what's here and how much fun they can have as part of National Youth Week 2017."
Mayor Barry McKenna said it was important young people felt like they were a vital part of their community.
"Our City is very fortunate to have a vibrant and diverse community and that of course involves lots of young people in the mix," Mayor Mckenna said.
"Youth Week is an opportunity for them to express their ideas and views and create and enjoy activities and events in their local area.
"We hope this project is the first of many things we can share with our youth audience."
National Youth Week runs from March 31 to April 9. The City will feature videos on its Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Facebook page throughout the week.
Young people in the area are being encouraged to share their own City of Bayswater experiences throughout the week and beyond with the #MyBaysie.
