Keeping your home safe

Posted on August 29, 2017

It's often said that your home is your castle so it makes good sense to keep your castle, its belongings and occupants safe.

The City of Bayswater recently put together a 'Residential Burglary' guide to do just that - it gives home owners and resident's practical tips to keep their homes secure and stay abreast of the dangers.

Residential burglary imposes a significant cost upon the community.

This publication has been developed to protect properties from being targeted by criminals, prevent repeat burglaries and provide useful numbers in case of an emergency.

It's available from the City of Bayswater's Libraries, Bayswater Waves and the Civic Centre offices and I highly recommend any homeowner in the Bayswater area to pick up a copy and have a read.

It's a simple but effective way to improve the safety of your property and provide you with all of the right information should you ever need it.

For more information please visit www.bayswater.wa.gov.au/residents/security-watch  or contact the City's Security Watch service on 1300 360 333.

The e-newsletter service is a great way to keep-up-to-date with the City's latest initiatives and programmes.
