eLearning workshops at #MyBaysie Libraries

Posted on November 24, 2017
Making the most of your digital devices can make life that much easier…but not if you don't know how to operate them effectively.

With that in mind the City of Bayswater Library Service is hosting two eLearning workshops for the community during December.

Maylands Library will host a cloud storage and photo back-up workshop to help residents understand the complexities of digital storage.

The session will look at what cloud storage is, how and where to access it, how to protect important documents and photos using cloud storage and how to scan old photographs to a device or cloud account and share them with friends and loved ones.

Later in the month Morley Library will play host to a digital photography workshop.

During the session presenter Tony Maccione, will explain the workings of a digital camera and its various accessories through to the differences between using auto and manual modes when taking photographs.

Everyone who attends will also have the opportunity to go outside and shoot photos and then return to the workshop to edit and show their final work.
