The City of Bayswater recognises the importance of books and is pleased to announce the arrival of its Pop-Up-Library Library Explorer at the Hawaiian's Noranda every Monday during the school term from 9am to 11am.
Mayor Dan Bull said the City wants to ensure all residents have access to a library, especially children.
“The Pop-Up Library will host a Storytime sessions at 9.30am every Monday followed by a craft activity. These sessions can play an important role in the development of children’s language skills and development,” he said.
“It is free for community members to join the library and enjoy the Storytime and craft session. There are a range of books, DVDs and magazines on offer. So why not take advantage of the Pop-Up Library next time you are at the Hawaiian's Noranda?"
The Pop-Up-Library is another example of how the City of Bayswater continues to provide novel ways to meet the needs of the local community.
