The City of Bayswater's annual Have a Go Day is being held at The RISE in Maylands from 10am to 1pm on Sunday, 25 March 2018.
This free family event provides residents with a chance to try the vast array of activities offered by community organisations within the City.
Mayor Dan Bull said the day was about promoting inclusiveness and providing people of all ages and abilities with opportunities to get involved with their local clubs and groups.
"Ensuring that all of our City's residents feel included and have access to a wide range of social and recreational opportunities is an important part of building a strong and cohesive community.
"Representatives from over 40 organisations, groups and clubs will be attending the event to showcase what they have to offer, so it's a great opportunity for people to find out more and get involved.
"Getting involved with a local club represents an opportunity to become more connected with the community and I think those attending will be surprised at the range of activities on offer."
Clubs and groups that have confirmed they will be attending range from the Girl Guides of WA to Bayswater Little Athletics; Golf WA to the Morley Bulldogs Junior Football Club; and the Australian Model Railway Association to the AIM over 50 Archery Group.
There will also be a host of other free activities on offer on the day to keep the kids entertained, including live music, bouncy castles and face painting.
