The free event is the brainchild of the Noranda Vibes Town Team, a newly formed community led organisation comprising local residents, sporting clubs and community groups. The Team's goal is to improve the vibrancy of their neighbourhood by showcasing all Noranda has to offer.

Mayor Dan Bull said the event is one not to be missed.

"Community events have an important role to play in activating town centres, bringing the local community together and cultivating each centre's unique identity.

"Noranda has a charming neighbourhood feel and a wonderful array of parks and open spaces. What better place to host the inaugural Bush Dance than in the picturesque surrounds of the Robert Thompson Reserve.
