A colourful array of dance and culture is coming to Morley with the City's free June Mulitcultural Community Concert. Held on Sunday 10 June from 2pm at the Morley Sport and Recreation Centre, the event will showcase traditional dance and music from a varierty of cultures. Performances from traditional Mauritius Sega dancers, Balinese dancers, and English folk dancers will light up the stage, followed by an afternoon tea for concert-goers to enjoy.
City of Bayswater Mayor Dan Bull said this popular event was a great way to bring people from different backgrounds together.
"As the third most culturally and linguistically diverse local government area in the state, the Mulitcultural Community Concert is an opportunity to celebrate Bayswater's unique multicultural community.
"It's fantastic to see people from all walks of life share and enjoy experiences from their own cultures. If you've never been to this event before, I encourage you to book a spot for your family and experience the melting pot of culture that is Bayswater," said Mayor Dan Bull.
Bookings are essential, contact the City of Bayswater's Events Team on 9272 0622 or email to reserve your seat. A light afternoon tea will be provided after the show.
