Park Sharks Skate Champs next stop Morley

Posted on November 22, 2018

The City of Bayswater’s Crimea Reserve Skatepark is set to host round two of the nine round 2018/19 Skateboarding WA Park Sharks Skate Championships competition this December.

The free event gives locals the chance to compete against skateboarders from all over the region in the only true street style plaza facility in Western Australia.

City of Bayswater Mayor Dan Bull said he looks forward to seeing skateboarders of all ages and skill levels make the most of this exciting opportunity.

“Ensuring we provide an avenue for a diverse range of activities and events to take place throughout our City is a real priority.

“Crimea Skatepark isn’t just a sporting facility, it’s a place that creates opportunity for community members of all ages to come together, learn new skills, make new friends and develop a passion for something positive.

“Even if you’re not a skateboarder yourself, come along to enjoy the food trucks and cheer on competitors.”

This round of the Park Sharks Competition Series takes place from 6pm – 10pm on Friday 7 December at Crimea Reserve, Morley.
