  • $2.50 for non members (up to 60 minutes)

A free Wi-Fi service is also available at Bayswater, Maylands and Morley Public Libraries.

Coin operated copiers capable of full colour prints are available for use at each library.

Children’s activities
             Baby Rhymetime:

             Baby Rhymetime sessions are designed for babies aged 0-24 months. Enjoy rhymes, songs and stories with your child.

Session details:

Maylands Public Library: Mondays & Thursdays 10.00am
Morley Public Library: Tuesdays 9.45am
Bayswater Public Library: Fridays 9.45am

             

            Storytime:

            Storytime sessions are free and aimed at children aged 2-5 years. Sessions include stories, rhymes, songs and simple craft activities.

             Session details:

Bayswater Public Library: Mondays & Fridays 10.30am
Maylands Public Library: Tuesdays 10.30am
Morley Public Library: Tuesdays & Fridays 10.30am

School Holiday Program:

 A free program of fun activities is held during the school holidays at all City of Bayswater libraries. Please click here for current program information.

Adult Activities Program:

City of Bayswater libraries offer a wide range of recreational and learning experiences through its monthly activity sessions. These sessions involve talks, workshops and performances on a diverse range of themes from gardening to high finance. For information regarding upcoming events, please click here.

English Conversation Group:

English 'chat' groups are held weekly.  The format of the sessions mainly caters for migrants, but anyone interested in gaining confidence in speaking English is always welcome to attend.

            Session details:

Maylands Public Library: Fridays 9.30am - 11.30am
Morley Public Library: Wednesdays 9.30am - 11.30am (commencing on Wednesday 14th June 2017)

Board Games:

A variety of board games are available for adults to play - everyone from beginners to experts are invited to come along, join in and have fun.

             Session details:

              Maylands Public Library: Mondays 2.00pm - 4.00pm

Book Clubs:

 Join one of our monthly book clubs and discover the wonderful world of literature. To ensure everyone can enjoy the same book, a small hire fee is payable each month.

             Meeting times:

Bayswater Public Library: 6pm, 3rd Wednesday each month
Maylands Public Library: 6pm, 1st Tuesday each month and 2pm, 2nd Thursday each month 
Morley Public Library: 1.30pm, 2nd Friday each month

 

Homebound and Books on Wheels Service:

Library materials can be delivered to City of Bayswater residents living in their own homes who, due to age or physical disability, have difficulty travelling to a public library. Live-in carers may also be eligible for this service. For more information, please contact the Maylands Library on 9208 2450.

Volunteer library staff also visit residential care and retirement facilities located within the City of Bayswater with selections of library materials. Residents can either make their own selections or have items pre-selected for them and delivered to their rooms or units.
