OVERVIEW
Consumer Protection WA will deliver a very timely information session on 'scams' - how to recognise them, how to avoid them, what to do if you feel you've been scammed.
Scams are becoming more sophisticated and it is important to have an awareness of the many different forms the perpetrators take to lure people in. Whether it be unexpected money, dating and romance, unexpected winnings, attempts to gain personal information, buying or selling, threats or extortion, the Consumer Protection Education Officer will make you more alert to any scam attempts.
Bookings are essential.
