OVERVIEW
After a short hiatus in 2020, the Avon Descent returns in 2021. Come along to the Avon Descent Finish Line Family Fun Day to celebrate the competitors as they cross the finish line, after paddling a grueling 124 kilometres over two days.
This fun and exciting event is held at Riverside Gardens on Milne Street, Bayswater. The Avon Descent is Western Australia’s own unique sporting event that attracts competitors and spectators from all over. Bring your family and friends and enjoy the food vans, free entertainment, exciting race atmosphere and much more.
Please note that dogs must be on lead in all areas of Riverside Gardens West during this free, community event. Riverside Gardens East (accessed via King William St) will remain an off lead park.
