OVERVIEW
Proudly supported by the City, join acclaimed WA dancer, choreographer Floeur Alder and artist Virginia Ward for dance and live drawing workshops.
These free community dance workshops are held in conjunction with the performances of Djilba(Spring) - A Moment in Time on 27, 28 February and 1 March 2021 at Eric Singleton Wetlands and Bird Park.
Please note: the dance workshop is suitable for ages 10 and above with basic dance experience.

10am - Workshop 1: Floorbarre
Floorbarre: a combination of yoga and classical ballet on the floor, to increase strength, flexibility, and rotation.
*Socks and comfortable clothing required

11.45am Workshop 2: Contemporary
Contemporary and creative technique class: a basic technique and a creative task from the performance.

2.15pm - Workshop 3: Live drawing
Live drawing class with Virginia Ward with Floeur as the live model; rehearsing solo movement from the performance work.
