    Discover the sounds and tastes of Noongar culture in an evening to be enjoyed by the whole community.

    Bring the family along to listen to music by First Nations artists, sample bush tucker with Bindi Bindi Dreaming, and discover a range of Indigenous-owned products at our market stalls.

    Enjoy a tasty treat from one of our food trucks or bring along a picnic. Free face painting will keep the little ones entertained.

    There'll also be market stalls from Emma Jane Weaving, Kaarli & Art by Thomas Betts, Djookanka Sisters and Jijas at Art.

    5.00pm – Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony by Vaughn McGuire, and Mayor's Welcome

    5.30pm – Kobi Morrison

    Kobi is a 28-year-old Bibbulmun Noongar who was born and raised in Perth. While working at the UWA Centre of Social Impact and Propel Youth Arts WA, Kobi spends his spare time playing music, being involved in various music projects such as Koorlong, Koondarm, Madjitil Moorna and Endeavourous – projects that earned him the 2018 Perth NAIDOC Youth of the Year award.

    6.20pm – Della Mob

    Della Mob is an ensemble of talented musicians and friends who come together to share in the joy of music, write original songs and sing. The group's ethereal harmonies and vocal storytelling aim to evoke healing.

    7pm – ABRYNZ

    A singer-songwriter and producer from Whadjuk country, ABRYNZ is a soulful vocal powerhouse breaking genre boundaries with hard-hitting drops and euphoric builds.

    7.35pm – Boss Arts Creative

    Boss Arts Creative is an Indigenous owned and led not-for-profit organisation that trains, mentors and empowers emerging First Nations performers.

    8.00pm – Boox Kid 

    Fremantle singer-songwriter and producer, Jarred Wall is a proud Noongar man delivering unique electro pop. A BIGSOUND 50 artist in 2020, Boox Kid is a cross genre performer, starring as Wardong in WA Opera’s Koolbardi Wer Wardong (2021/22). Fresh from opening for George Ezra’s Perth show, 2023 is set to be a big year for Boox Kid with collaborations and a debut EP coming soon.

    Parking

    ACROD parking will be available along Weatherill Way. Additional parking will be available at the Hawaiian's Noranda carpark. We encourage nearby residents to walk or cycle to this event.

    Seating

    You may bring your own seating including chairs and picnic blankets. The event will have designated areas for picnic blankets and low seating (low back chairs and chairs with short legs), and an area for high seating. No umbrellas or marquees will be permitted.

    Food and beverages

    There will be a range of food trucks available to purchase from, including Maneki Neko (Japanese street food), Chew Chew Truck (Vietnamese), Piandina Bar (Italian), Unicone Soft Serve and Central 55's coffee van, Grow & Grind. Attendees are welcome to bring their own picnic or bring food from one of the nearby restaurants.
