Join support crews and spectators in welcoming competitors over the finish line of the 50th Avon Descent at the City of Bayswater Finish Line Festival. Listen to live commentary and watch the race live on the big screen. Enjoy a sensational day of free entertainment, children’s activities, food and more, while celebrating the natural beauty of the Swan River (Derbal Yerrigan) and its cultural and spiritual significance to the Noongar people.
The City is working with vendors to reduce single-use plastics at this event. Festival-goers are encouraged to bring their own reusable water bottles to fill at the Water Corporation water station, and make use of their own reusable containers and cups.
The City of Bayswater Finish Line Festivalis supported by Lotterywest and the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council, andthe Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attraction's Plastic Free Riverpark program which aims to reduce single-use plastics.
