The City is celebrating International Women’s Day with Women’s Impact, an inspirational free networking event exploring this year’s theme ‘Embrace Equity’.
Attendees will listen to keynote speaker Professor Sue Fletcher AO, engage in a panel discussion with Mayor Filomena Piffaretti and special guests, and learn more about the initiatives that seek to support women and girls in the community.

Women's Impact Donation
Applications are now closed.
To celebrate International Women's Day 2023, the City is donating up to $7,000 to organisations and individuals with programs/projects that empower women and girls in the City of Bayswater and the wider community.
Donation recipients will deliver a 5-minute presentation showcasing their project/program at the City's Women's Impact event on Thursday 9 March 2023.
