  • OVERVIEW

Ever wondered what bird is calling from the tree-tops in your local park or reserve, or flying over or perching near you? Join us for this dynamic presentation to learn how to recognise the birds by their behaviour, calls and darn good looks.

From robins to parrots or birds of prey, there is no shortage of beautiful and fascinating birds in the City of Bayswater and plenty of parks and reserves.

Expect an action-packed, beautifully illustrated and very informative talk from our two dynamic bird boffins, Rachel and Mike Green with photos and videos taken in Maylands Reserve, Baigup Wetlands, Bayswater Civic Centre, Lightning Swamp, Nora Hughes Park, Gobba Lake, Riverside Gardens, and more.

Bring any bird photographs or calls you want identified.

Rachel and Mike are the authors of A Guide to the Birds of Broz Park. Their bird garden was recently featured on the ABC's Gardening Australia in September's Gardening Australia Magazine.

Tickets are $10 per person. Registration essential.
