OVERVIEW
Join Western Australian author Fiona H Evans for a relaxed and engaging conversation about her debut novel, The Track, a character-driven story exploring family, connection, and the ways nature helps us understand ourselves.
The novel follows thirty-year-old Lee Kelley, who, after her life begins to unravel, makes a bold decision to hike the Bibbulmun Track. As she travels through windswept coastlines and ancient forests, her journey becomes one of self-discovery as much as distance.
Fiona is a mathematician and writer who loves language and nature. She says, “I wanted to write a story that would bring the track to life for everyone, encouraging people to hike or enjoy a virtual hike if they can’t be there physically.”
