Play Space Strategy
The City of Bayswater has recently completed a strategy to guide the future planning, design and implementation of play spaces across the City. The strategy is based on a broad view approach to planning, taking into consideration the surrounding environment and existing play spaces in the area, in order to increase the variety of play opportunities in local areas. The City will continue to seek community input into annual play space redevelopments. More information can be found on Engage Bayswater.

Playground replacement and upgrades
The City of Bayswater has a comprehensive annual playground replacement program based on a 15 year cycle. Every three years, the City commissions an independent audit of all of its playgrounds which ensures playgrounds meet Australian Standards and schedules playgrounds due for replacement.
Parks and reserve maintenance
Accredited City of Bayswater staff inspect the playgrounds on a regular basis and maintain the City's parks and reserves. The maintenance of the City's parks and reserves are conducted on a routine maintenance program to ensure they are safe for the community.
