Accessing support and education to help them deliver valued sporting activities has become a breeze for local clubs thanks to the City of Bayswater’s Blue Ribbon Clubs program.
Open to groups of all sizes, the free educational program covers the areas of administration, future planning, community connection and working with children.
City of Bayswater Mayor Dan Bull said that Blue Ribbon Clubs is tailored to suit the needs and goals of each individual club.
“We are lucky to be home to a huge variety of sports clubs for all ages and the City is proud to be able to help these clubs thrive in any way we can.
“Clubs are hugely important for any community, providing a place for people to develop social groups, improve fitness and learn new skills that can help them thrive in all areas of life.
“Through the Blue Ribbon Clubs program we’re helping local sport clubs master the essentials and reach their goals, making it easier for them to enjoy long term success in our community.
