Animal conservation a hoot in Bayswater
Adventurous local kids will have the chance to interact with a range of Australian owl species at the City of Bayswater’s Owls Uncovered workshop this July.
Aimed at encouraging appreciation of native species, and improving understanding of animal conservation, the free workshop will take place on Tuesday 9 July at 1.30pm at Morley Library.
City of Bayswater Mayor Dan Bull said the session will be a great chance for kids to discover some of the incredible animals that are living on their doorstep.
“The City of Bayswater is home to a huge variety of native animals, and it’s up to us as a whole community to ensure these creatures have a bright future in our region.
“The City’s Sustainability and Environment team work hard to create safe spaces for native animals to thrive, and this is a chance for our community to find out how they can take part too.”
Owls Uncovered is open to kids aged between 3 and 12. For full event details or to sign up, visit our Facebook page.
