The City of Bayswater is offering residents, ratepayers and business owners the chance to present their view on local projects with the launch of the Engage Bayswater Panel. Hosted online, the new Engage Bayswater Panel is a convenient way for interested community members to participate in regular surveys and engagement opportunities.

Mayor Dan Bull said the City wanted to give the community more opportunity to have their say on projects and issues that affect them.

"The City has improved the way we consult with our community by leaps and bounds. Now we're taking it a step further by establishing a panel of passionate locals who want to be consulted on a more regular basis," said Mayor Dan Bull.

“The Engage Bayswater Panel is part of our commitment to include community members in our decision making. We want to give residents a ‘voice’ on local issues and an opportunity to have their say on what’s happening in their local area.

Interested community members are invited to register for the Engage Bayswater Panel online at engage.bayswater.wa.gov.au.

"As an Engage Bayswater panellist, we'll check in with you around once every six to eight weeks with new opportunities to have your say.

"The whole panel will be hosted online, so it's a really convenient way to stay up-to-date and get more actively involved in projects that affect you."

To become an Engage Bayswater panellist, you must be 16 years or older, and a resident, ratepayer or business owner in the City of Bayswater. Printed surveys will be available for participants without internet access.
