Young people in the heart of the inner east will have the opportunity to learn a range of new skills this January as part of the City of Bayswater’s How to Adult program.

Open to ages 12 – 25, the free workshops aim to help young people find a new hobby, passion or even future career path.

City of Bayswater Mayor Dan Bull said that the next generation are set for an exciting future in Bayswater and these workshops are all part of preparing them for what’s ahead.

“This school holidays local 12 – 25 year olds can learn how to make their own pottery, weave baskets, transform cocoa beans into chocolate and even hip hop dance.

“There are so many different career pathways available to young people in our community. The diverse range of sessions on offer throughout the year are designed to provide young people with experiences that could ignite the passion in them and potentially lead to a fulfilling career or part-time job.  

The How to Adult program runs throughout the school holidays each year, bookings are essential.
