Calling all cat and dog owners!
Oct 01 2020

Pet owners should receive their renewal forms from the City this month by mail or email.

If you need to register your pet for the first time, please complete and submit a registration form, available to download from our website. You can register any time of the year, and select a one-year, three-year or lifetime option. Pensioners receive a 50 per cent discount.

Why register?

The State Government requires dogs from three months old, and cats from six months old, be registered with their local council, including providing their microchip details. Importantly, these details will enable a quick reunion should your precious pet go missing. If you move house, don't forget to update your details with us!

Your registration fee helps maintain the City's off-lead and on-lead dog parks, and our 24/7 Ranger service.

Our website contains handy pet-related information, including all you need to know about registering your pet, and on-lead and off-lead dog exercise areas.

Our Rangers and Security team can answer any questions you might have about owning a pet in the City, and can be contacted on 9272 0972. You can also watch this short video to hear one of our dedicated Rangers talking all things pets!
