The Association is of one of more than 200 community groups the City supports.

Mayor Dan Bull said, "The WA Rogaining Association has more than 2,000 active members aged between 10 and 80, who embark on long distance, cross country navigation adventures. The City is proud to support such a diverse and thriving group, which is also celebrating its 40th anniversary this year.

"The new vehicle ramp installed by the City will provide all volunteers safe and easy access to the club's storage facility. The Association has leased this space from us for nearly 20 years now.

"The provision of the ramp was fast-tracked as part of our $5.09 million local stimulus package to help our community groups recover from COVID-19 impacts."
