City website launches destination section to attract visitors
Visit our City aims to encourage people to explore the three town centres of Bayswater, Morley and Maylands.
The City has launched a new section on its website dedicated to promoting the town centres of Bayswater, Morley and Maylands.
Visit our City aims to showcase all that these town centres have to offer, encouraging visitors to stay and play, and support local businesses.
Each town centre webpage features a brief overview, a stylised map and key highlights.
Maps include well-known hotspots such as entertainment venues, markets, restaurants and bars, cafés and shops, as well as cycle routes and directions to destinations such as the river and Perth’s CBD.
Town highlights provide visitors with a hit list of must-see-and-do activities, such as discovering Bayswater’s arts, history and heritage scene; exploring the many laneways of Maylands; or going old school with a retro experience in Morley.
Each webpage also includes important information for getting to and around the town centre.
Upcoming community events will also be featured to attract visitors.

The new web section was created as part of the City's Destination Marketing Strategy which seeks to provide a blueprint for attracting visitors to the City’s three town centres over the next four years and beyond.
