Budding artists and established creatives are invited to showcase their talent by submitting their work into the 2022 Community Art Awards.
Until 7 October, artists can submit their watercolours, resin art, sculpture, photography and more across 10 different categories, including the City of Bayswater Open Award and the new Local Whadjuk Award. With 11 prizes up for grabs, artists can win up to $5,000.
The annual awards, which celebrate artists of all ages, mediums and cultural backgrounds, are a highlight for artists and community members alike.
Following the submission period, successful entries will be exhibited at The RISE in Maylands, where members of the public will have the opportunity to vote for the winner of the Community Bank Bayswater People’s Choice Award.
Artists will also be able to sell their entry to community members during the exhibition, which will run for two weeks, from Sunday 5 November to Saturday 19 November.
For more information and to enter, visit the City's webpage.
