Ryan Hall will join the City of Bayswater as its new Director Community Services following Bianca Sandri’s appointment as Deputy Commissioner at the City of Nedlands. 

Bayswater CEO Jeremy Edwards said the City was delighted to welcome such a high-calibre, contemporary leader, following a competitive recruitment process.

“Ryan is committed to driving positive change though collaboration, sustainable growth and by placing the community at the heart of every initiative,” Mr Edwards said.

“Ryan’s strategic mindset, technical expertise and values-driven approach make him an excellent fit for the City of Bayswater.

“I look forward to the positive impact Ryan will make in his new role as Director Community Services and a valued member of the City’s Executive Leadership Team.”

Mr Hall has more than 20 years’ experience in local government, having held senior roles at the regional Cities of Greater Geraldton, Townsville and Karratha.

In his recent role as Director Development Services at the City of Greater Geraldton, Mr Hall was an integral part of the City’s Executive Leadership Team and oversaw a number of diverse portfolios, including Strategic & Statutory Planning, Building Services, Development Compliance, Environmental Health, Rangers, Emergency Management, Building Maintenance, Land & Leasing, Customer Services and Economic Development.

Mr Hall has worked at metropolitan councils, including the Cities of Vincent, Wanneroo and Gosnells, and in 2024, was appointed to both the WA Planning Commission and DevelopmentWA.  

Mr Hall will commence at the City from Monday 20 October 2025.
