The City of Bayswater, in partnership with Enviro House, is supporting Plastic Free July with a series of activities and workshops to encourage the community to reduce single-use plastics and embrace more sustainable habits.

Events include making beeswax wraps and reusable lunch wraps, a recycling station tour and Q&A, and a session on making natural lip balm.

Now a global movement, Plastic Free July started in WA and continues to inspire millions to make simple changes that lead to cleaner streets, oceans and communities.

These events support the City’s ongoing commitment to waste reduction and a circular economy. From the early rollout of FOGO to ongoing education and recycling initiatives, the City continues to encourage behaviour change and more sustainable practices across the community.
