City offers grant funding to groups building a Better Bayswater
From 1 to 31 October, not-for-profit groups and clubs can apply to receive up to $5,000 in funding towards initiatives supporting the local community.
The City of Bayswater is offering eligible community groups and clubs up to $5,000 towards projects and initiatives benefiting the local community, as part of its Better Bayswater Grant.
From 1 to 31 October, not-for-profit organisations can apply for up to half the funds required for initiatives that benefit the community in the areas of health and wellbeing, community connection, and support for vulnerable people. Applicants can match the City’s contribution with cash, in-kind support or a combination of both.
City of Bayswater Mayor Filomena Piffaretti said Better Bayswater Grant funding supported passionate locals in implementing meaningful projects within their community.
“Our Better Bayswater Grant helps bring to life grassroots activities and initiatives to make our City a more inclusive, healthy and connected place to live,” she said.
“Whether you’re planning a program that provides relief to those in need, brings together our diverse community or encourages healthy habits, Better Bayswater Grant funding can help get your project off the ground.
“I encourage everyone with a passion for making a difference to apply.”
