The City is celebrating Library and Information Week with a talk by WA author Holly Craig.
The City is celebrating Library and Information Week with a talk by WA author Holly Craig at Maylands Library on Monday 28 July.
Every year, the City takes part in the national week with a series of activities to highlight the role libraries play in supporting education, literacy and community connection, which is emphasised through its own libraries at Bayswater, Maylands and Morley.
The presentation by Ms Craig invites local resident bookworms and writers to hear about her latest thriller, Find Me.
Known for her addictive, suspense-filled stories, Ms Craig will discuss the inspiration and writing process behind the new thriller and her journey towards creating gripping, page-turner novels.
The City’s Library and Information Week program will continue with a craft workshop for children at Bayswater Library on Saturday 1 August, enabling participants to build a fairytale magical door for their own fairy garden.
Library and Information Week 2026 will be celebrated nationally from 27 July to 2 August, with the theme Truth Be Told.
