Discover ballroom culture through inclusive workshops
Sep 22 2026

Community members are invited to explore ballroom culture, creativity and self-expression through a series of free City workshops led by local collective Boorloo Ballroom.

Designed for those aged 16 years and above, the series of workshops will cover makeup, styling, runway and performance, culminating in a final ballroom showcase at The RISE, providing participants with a chance to put their new skills into practice.

The City's Boorloo Ballroom project aims to provide an inclusive space for LGBTQIA+ people and the wider community to learn new skills, build confidence and connect.

Places are limited to 20 participants per workshop and bookings are essential.
