The Policy Committee (PRDC) has been established in order to:
- Review City of Bayswater policies (excluding Planning Policies) and facilitate the development of new policies for the consideration by Council as required.
- Make recommendations to Council on matters related to policy, policy review and policy development.

The Chief Executive Officer Review Panel has been established to ensure compliance with sections 5.39 and 5.39A of the Local Government Act 1995 (WA); and
- To ensure the annual review of performance is consistent with the principles and standards outlined by the Department of Local Government in the Operational Guideline ‘Guidelines For Local Government CEO Recruitment and Selection, Performance Review and Termination’ (https://www.dlgsc.wa.gov.au/department/publications/publication/appointing-a-ceo).
- To make recommendations to Council on any proposed changes to the Chief Executive Officer’s Contract of Employment or Conditions of Employment.

The City is seeking up to five (5) community members to join the Committee for a two-year term, until October 2027.
The purpose of the Reconciliation Advisory Panel is to advise Council on the development and implementation of the Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) for the City of Bayswater, with the aim to help the workplace to facilitate understanding, strengthen relationships and trust with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People; promote meaningful engagement, increase equality and develop sustainable employment and business opportunities.
