  • Integrated Pest Management

Fiona Blackham from Gaia Permaculture will share practical tips on growing healthy plants naturally.

Learn about plant varieties suitable for your home, receive free gardening advice and enjoy a cup of tea.

  • Storytelling, Dancing and Community Planting Day for NAIDOC Week

Bardon Park (Malgamongup), Maylands

Celebrate NAIDOC Week with a special community planting day featuring a yarning session with Dr Noel Nannup OAM and a dance performance from Ngalak Nidja. \

Yarning and dancing will take place at 9am, followed by planting at 10am.

Help care for the hens that roam freely at Enviro House and learn all about our feathered friends though fun activities, including making beautiful chicken ornaments to take home.

Come along to this hands-on workshop to create your own bird nesting material provider to help our feathered friends prepare for spring.

$8 per person or $25 for a family of four

Pop on your gumboots and come foraging for frogs at Lightning Swamp Bushland in Noranda. Meet some native species then learn abou the local frogs on an adventure through the swamp.

Go behind the scenes at the City's Depot to learn about the different machines we use to look after our parks, gardens and streets.

Join us at Eric Singleton Bird Sanctuary in Bayswater to discover why each bird has a differen beak and body shape, and how their special features help them survive in and around the water.
