- Green waste (green) bulk bins.
Households are entitled to any combination of three bulk bins per year (excluding commercial and industrial premises).
All bulk bins are three cubic metres in size.

Bulk general waste collection
Weekday bin orders are delivered on Monday or Tuesday. The bin will remain on your property for three nights.
Weekend bin orders are delivered on Thursday or Friday. The bin will remain on your property over the weekend and will be collected on either Monday or Tuesday the following week.
Bulk green waste collection
Green waste bins are delivered on Wednesday and will remain on your property for seven days. Approximate delivery times will depend on seasonal demand.

A. Yes, but you will be required to complete a disclaimer form which absolves Cleanaway of liability for damage to the paved area, private footpaths, driveways or access ways. Services cannot be provided without this written disclaimer.
Q. What are the waiting times for bulk bins?
A. Cleanaway will not place a bulk bin on a verge that has imitation/fake lawn, under any circumstances. If the bin needs to be placed on your driveway, you will need to complete a disclaimer form which absolves Cleanaway of liability for damage to the driveway, private footpaths, or access ways during delivery and collection. Services cannot be provided without this written disclaimer.
Q. When is a week day bulk bin delivered? Q. How long does a week day bulk bin stay on the property?
A. Bulk bins can be ordered on demand, subject to demand. You will be given a delivery date and the order number for your reference when you book.
Q. When is a weekend bulk bin delivered?
A. Three nights, which is equivalent to two full days.
Q. How long does a weekend bulk bin stay on the property?
A. On Thursday or Friday.
Q. A bulk bin has been delivered to my property but it is full of someone else's rubbish.
A. It stays on the property over the weekend and will be removed on Monday or Tuesday.
Q. Can I phone Cleanaway to enquire when the bulk bin will be delivered?
A. For logistical reasons, some bulk bins may contain rubbish when delivered to your property. The rubbish will be emptied the same day.

A. Please do not overload the bins, as they will not be serviced. The contents of the bin must be level with the top of the bin and not extend over the top or side. If the Bulk Bin is unable to be removed due to being overloaded, Cleanaway will leave a notice in the letter box instructing the resident to unload the contents and phone them when this has been done so they can remove the bulk bin.
