International Day of People with Disability (IDPwD) is observed each year on 3 December to spread awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability in Australia.
IDPwD is an opportunity to be part of creating an inclusive and diverse community for the 5.5 million people with disability in Australia.
In celebration, the City hosts free activities and events for community members with disability.
Stay tuned for the City's 2026 IDPwD celebration.
The City is committed to creating a welcoming, accessible and inclusive community for people of all abilities, as outlined in Inclusive Bayswater, our Access and Inclusion Plan 2025 – 2030.
