Meet and greet with the City of Bayswater's Inclusion and Diversity Advisory Committee LGBTQIA+ representatives Clint Strindberg and Kay Barnard

11am-12pm, Saturday 5 November

Maylands Library, The RISE

Meet the LGBTQIA+ representatives Clint Strindberg and Kay Barnard from the City's Inclusion and Diversity Advisory Committee and share your ideas on how the City can better support the LGBTQIA+ community. 

 

Drag Queen Storytime with Donna Kebab

12.30-1.30pm, Saturday 5 November

Maylands Library, The RISE

Listen to the fabulous Donna Kebab read some of her favourite stories at this fun family-friendly event. 

 

The Day You Went Away: Queer Bereaved Meet-Up and Panel  

2-4pm, Saturday 5 November

Morley Noranda Recreation Club, Noranda

Join bereaved members of the LGBTQIA+ community to meet, share stories and listen to a panel of speakers on how to live with grief and loss. The City of Bayswater is proud to partner with Pride WA for this event.

 

Pride in the Park        

10am-12pm, Sunday 6 November

Noranda Nook

The City of Bayswater is partnering with Playgroups with Pride for a morning picnic at Noranda Nook to celebrate being an LGBTQIA+ parent. Pack your picnic and gather your family for a morning of music, face painting and games. 

 

Intersex Community Coffee Meet Up

2.30-5pm, Sunday 6 November

Steam Haus Café, Maylands

The City of Bayswater is partnering with Intersex WA to host a free coffee meet up for members of the intersex community. Meet new people and make friends over coffee and cake. 

 

Pride Roller Derby Exhibition Game 

7-9pm, Saturday 12 November

The RISE, Maylands

The City of Bayswater and Derby West invite you to watch roller derby teams from across Western Australia unite to celebrate PrideFEST in an exciting exhibition match. 

 

Pride Fair Day

10am-6pm, Sunday 13 November

Hyde Park, Highgate

The City is proud to be attending PrideFEST Fair Day this year, so drop by our stall and let us know how we can better support the LGBTQIA+ community. 

 

Pride Poetry Night      

6.30pm, Tuesday 15 November

Rabble Books & Games, Maylands

Join Rabble Books and Games and the City for a queer poetry spectacular. Hear readings from a number of incredible feature poets. 

 

ExDRAGaganza

6pm-12am, Friday 25 November

Coventry Pavilion, Morley

The City has teamed up with Morley’s new bar venue Coventry Pavillion to deliver a night of fun entertainment on the eve of the 2022 Pride Parade. Book a table to experience an exclusive show, drag bingo, meals on heels, a set from DJ Dean Misdale and much more.
