Recycling Week

In celebration of National Recycling Week, City of Bayswater will be hosting a series of free activities and workshops for local residents of all ages from Monday 7 November to Saturday 12 November 2022. 

National Recycling Week is a great opportunity to get involved in events to inspire waste minimisation ideas for everyday life.

2022 event details

Recycle Storytime
10.30-11.30am, Monday 7 November
Bayswater Library
Join Cleanaway for storytime and learn about how to recycle. This event is recommended for children aged 2-5.

Sustainable Fashion Clothing Swap
6-8pm, Monday 7 November
Morley Library
Learn how to dress more sustainably and shop mindfully, followed by a clothes swap.

Give it a New Life: Making Jewellery with Recycled Materials
1-2.30pm, Tuesday 8 November
Bayswater Library
Learn how to make jewellery from recycled materials. All materials will be provided.

Waste Education Pop-Up
10am-12pm, Tuesday 8 November
Bayswater Library
Play games, pick up some fun merchandise and have all your waste questions answered. No need to register, just turn up. 

Rubbish Truck Storytime
10.30-11.30am, Wednesday 9 November
Morley Library
Join Cleanaway for storytime, learn how to recycle and see a rubbish truck up close.  This event is recommended for children aged 2-5.
